As the design of superyachts continue to evolve, as does the design of their anchors. For many yacht owners a standard anchor design will not give the boat that unique look and feel. With nearly 40 years of anchoring experience, Manson Anchors has developed the facilities to design, test, certify and commission completely customized superyacht anchors.

Included in the build process is small scale testing, creating full scale mock ups and the use of 3D scanning. This ensures delivery of a thoroughly tested, perfect fitting anchor each and everytime.

Superyacht Class Certification

All our large anchors, except our SHHP Supreme and SHHP Hulk models are class approved as HHP, and can be certified to all major classification societies (Lloyd’s Register, GL, ABS, DNV and RINA). If you are after a one-off custom designed anchor for your project we can work with you on this and ensure it is class approved. Anchors are available in galvanized execution, built from Lloyd’s Register minimum Grade A steel, and in mirror polished and glass bead blasted stainless steel from either 316L (1.4404) or SAF2205 (1.4462) material grades.

Custom Design

Just as a superyacht is a designer vessel, our anchors too can be custom designed to complement the boat. Our design team can provide CAD drawings of your anchor and advice on specific anchoring deployment systems or stowage arrangements. Our approach is always collaborative.
